PlayStation®Home is a 3D social gaming community that allows PLAYSTATION®3 users to meet, chat, plan, and launch into games together. You can create your own custom avatar, decorate your personal apartment, play mini-games, shop, watch videos, attend special events, and much more - it's all part of PlayStation®Home.

In order to get started, just follow these four simple steps:

1. Make sure you have signed up for a PSN account. If you don’t already have an account, click here to create one.

2. Launch your PS3, navigate to the PlayStation Network sign-in icon and login to your PSN account.

3. Select the Playstation®Home icon from the cross-media bar under the PlayStation®Network menu to start the download and installation process.

4. Once the process completes, click on the Home icon again to launch Home.

With VM Email for the PS3, simply hoook up a compatible USB keyboard and voila, instant access to your email. This platform management system allows you to be alerted of new emails, but will not interrupt gameplay. New emails are stored in a persistent queue, automatically indexed and catalogued per your specifications.
